Kelly Harrison, LMFT, LCMHC-S
Owner & Founder
Kelly Harrison is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHC-S) in North Carolina with more than a decade of clinical experience. She works with adults, couples, and families, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, women’s issues, and faith-related concerns.
Kelly is especially passionate about helping couples and families improve communication, rebuild trust, resolve conflict, and strengthen their relationships. She believes that when communication breaks down, individuals often feel misunderstood or disconnected, and therapy can help restore understanding and connection.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based, incorporating methods such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). When desired, she also integrates faith-based counseling into the therapeutic process.
Kelly earned her Master of Arts in Christian Counseling, cum laude, from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee. She is a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Consultant with EMDRIA and a Certified EFT Therapist through ICEEFT.
Outside of her work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, playing games, attending Carolina Hurricanes hockey games, photography, Pilates, reading, and being in nature.
Kelly accepts the following insurances:
BCBS (except Blue Home, Blue Local, and Blue Value), Cigna, Medcost, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Humana MCR
