Krista Bennett, LCMHCA

Krista is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. She graduated with honors from Northwestern University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Krista prefers an integrative, eclectic approach to therapy using modalities that include Psychodynamic, Adlerian, ACT, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She fundamentally believes that a strong therapeutic relationship and a tailored approach to every individual is the most successful way to facilitate positive change.

Krista comes to the field of mental health after a 25-year career as a performer in New York City and on Broadway. As a result, she specializes in working with dancers, performers, artists, athletes, and people going through life or career transitions.

Krista’s decision to embark on a second career helped provide her with insight and empathy for people who are struggling to find or renew their purpose.
