Susan Dumire is a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) for the state of North Carolina since 2020. She is passionate about helping people of all walks of life and emphasizes the importance of viewing medication management as a tool that can be used in conjunction with other modalities, i.e. diet, exercise, and implementation of strategies learned in therapy.

Susan graduated with her Associates of Applied Science from Howard County Community College in 2010 affording her the opportunity to start her registered nursing career. She then went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011. As a registered nurse, she has over a decade of bedside nursing in the fields of Emergency medicine, Interventional Radiology, Recovery, Psychiatry, and Medical-Surgical nursing.
